Collective MakeUp Haul

Hey loves and welcome back ! I hope everyone has been having a wonderful week so far; there’s just a few more days until the weekend (whoopi). These last few days, I have been in and out of stores looking for different items that I’ve had my eyes on for a while. Well, I’ve finally picked up the majority of items that I’ve looked into and I decided to come on and share them with you guys. To keep things a little more organized in my head, I’m going to discuss these by where I purchased them and go from there. Let’s get it poppin’!

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

  • For starters, I’ve never been one to do setting sprays but here lately I’ve noticed that my makeup doesn’t stay as long as I need it to for my longer days. This was suggested to me, so I decided to buy it. Since I’m a newbie at this, let’s hope I love it (fingers crossed).

   Tarte Clean Slate Poreless Primer

  • I’ve always been one to use primers and my favorite so far has been from NYX. Well, I’m running out of it and I wanted to try something new. I’ve heard a lot of good reviews on this primer so why not see what this is about ?

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

  • Meet one of the top items I have been dying to try. One of my favorite makeup artists Dreyah Bentivegas raves about this, along with tons of other beauty gurus on YouTube. Given my oily skin, I needed a setting powder that would keep me matte and I think I’ve found the perfect item for the job.

   Nars Turkish Delight

  • I know everyone had heard about this one; it’s definitely an oldie, but goodie. The color is beautiful and pigmented enough for an everyday color. I’m looking forward to trying it out and see if it can live up to the hype behind it.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz & Definer (Ebony)

  • Having naturally full eyebrows, I don’t need to fill in my brows necessarily but I still do because of the thinner areas and to lengthen the tail of my brows. ABH has become the queen of brows, so I decided to hop on the bandwagon to see how amazing her products are.

Urban Decay Illuminated Shimmering Powder (Luminous)

  • I bought this on a whim; I don’t do any additional highlighting outside of my usual contour and highlight routine but when I swatched this in the store I loved it. It’s incredibly pigmented and smooth, which only adds to my excitement. Plus, it’s a light gold color that’s really pretty and subtle but can definitely be built to be more intense. I can’t wait to try it out for my daytime looks.

   Vegas Nay Grand Glamor

  • If you’ve followed me for a little bit, this one may seem a bit familiar. I picked up a pair a few months ago and I lost them- how? I have no idea. One minute they were on my counter, then the next minute they were gone. They’re incredibly full, so I know they’re definitely going to add amazing detail to my eye looks. So, I picked them up again to actually give them a try to see how they’ll fit me.

Revlon PhotoReady AirBrush Effect Foundation (Cappuccino)

  • This in an absolute favorite drugstore brand of makeup. I’ve used it for a pretty long time and recently I ran out; I’ve never felt so incomplete with using a different foundation. Other than my Mac Studio Fix Fluid, this is my everyday go-to. Perfect coverage, it’s not too thick, and it doesn’t make my face crazy oily so it’s a winner in my book.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit (Medium)

  • Here’s my other item I’ve done an extensive amount of research on; the cream contour pallets have been everywhere. I’ve never tried cream for my highlight and contour routine but I wanted to give this a try. Plus, it has a eye correcting color included into the pallet which I want to try and see how well it’ll cover my dark under eye circles. I honestly think I’ll like it, I just have to make sure my technique is good. Practice makes perfect!

   Urban Decay Illuminated Shimmering Powder(Lit)

  • Yep, you’re seeing right. I bought another shimmering powder but this one is lit- seriously. It’s a rose gold tone that I’m completely in love with; the pigment and texture as the same as I stated before, so I know I’m going to love this.

And that’s it! Let me know what item you’re loving the most down below in the comments. Also, what are some of your new products? I’d love to find some new things to add to my collection. As always, thank you for reading my blog and I hope you loved it as much as I enjoyed sharing it.

      Talk to you later,

             Leah La’Rae 😘
