Favorite YouTubers

Hey loves, welcome back to my blog! I hope everyone is having a good week so far, especially since the weekend is just around the corner; I’m even more excited because my vacation beings today.. And much needed it was. Now, I will have the time to clean and reorganize my closet which has not been done in forever but this also gives me a chance to catch up on all of my beloved YouTubers! I know everyone is in love with YouTube and has their favorites, but it’s gotten to the point where I am subscribed to so many people I can barely keep up. So, I’ve wheedled my subscriptions down to my 10 top; let’s get started !

Beauty Gurus

  • MsAaliyahJay

I’m going to start things off with this young lady right here- AaliyahJay. I started following her a while back because I loved her accent, weird right? Well, over the year or so that I’ve been subscribed to her I’ve recreated a lot of her looks that have become my go-to looks in most cases. Also, she recently took a huge step and has plastic surgery; needless to say, her confidence gave me the extra push I needed to make my decision about going under the knife. Her personality is super sweet and playful, plus I love her vlogs; her friends are hilarious!

  • IvyDear

Hair maven of the Gods! She has taught me everything I know when it comes to extensions. From how to do my own sew-ins, making wigs, to installing frontals or making a flatter braid pattern for a proper install and coloring hair- she has been the biggest help for me and to my hair. She also does makeup looks that are really pretty and simple which is nice when I don’t want to do anything extravagant. She’s a new mommy and her son is so adorable, so seeing her monthly updates are heartwarming.

  • Nicole Guerriero

This has been my baby since 2012, literally. I absolutely obsess over her and everything Nicole Guerriero. She hilarious, genuine, an awesome makeup artist, and her vlogs are always welcomed. Her growth in her vidoes has been great and seeing her grow as a businesswoman is inspiring. I’m so proud of her succes and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for her.

  • Sonjdredelux

Slay. Fleek. Unique. Gorgeous. Real. She is EVERYTHING. I found her while going through a phase of wanting to shave one of the sides of my head and when I say she made only made it worse, I mean it. She rocks ever makeup look and her hairstyle adds to her fierceness. She also told her weight loss story on one of her videos and after that I fell in love with her even more, soley because she was so honest. Overall, she’s a major babe !

  • AlexFaction

If Christan Grey did makeup, I think he’d look like this but with gray eyes of course. Alex Faction has been in my arsenal for a little while now and has made his way into my heart as a fun, loving, and passionate artist. His Halloween looks are incredible to say the least and seeing the growth as an artist and a more open Youtuber is awesome.  I follow him on SnapChat as well and he’s hilarious; he likes to scare his mom a lot and his random conversations are funny.

    Style

    • Shirley B. Eniang

This is the woman who taught me person style, no joke. I began following her blog then her channel when I was trying to figure out my niche in this thing we call style. I started by listening to her speak on basics and dressing them up however you want; after some trial and error, I found the items that make me most comfortable and feel amazing. Her style, though simple, is chic and fresh. To top is off, her personality is fun and sweet!

    • HausOfColor

Now, I found her while looking at places to travel and I slowly became intrigued by her traveling vlogs. Many of the places I had on my list, she had gone to so it was awesome being able to get a look into where I’ll be traveling to. Also, I follow her on Instagram where many of her style looks are; her style in a word is chic. I love her ability to layer is impeccable; I look up to her when it comes to layering so she’s my go-to in the colder months.

    • Fashionista804

I recently ran across Sophia Chang about a month ago and I am already a fan. The first video I watched of hers was of her tattoos and can I just say- her back piece is incredible! And her style is just as cool as her tattoos; she’s very free and open when it comes to the pieces she wears which is nice since the warmer months are approaching (she’s been giving me a few looks I’d like to experiment with). I’ve also noticed that she’s big of detail, if you follow her on YouTube or any social media you’ll understand what I mean and that attention to detail definitely doesn’t go unnoticed.

      Comedy/Reality

      • BuzzFeed

Whenever I need a pick me up during the week or just roaming around YouTube, I usually end up here laughing my face off. In combination with habit hilarious vidoes, there are a lot of educational content as well which is pretty cool. So in a way, it can be a one stop shop for a good laugh and a fun fact session. By the way, TryGuys are my absolute favorite; I’ve watched all of their videos and I do mean ALL.

      • TheSkorpionShow

I have a secret love for reality tv and good gossip, so I’ll head here to get it. These two have been doing videos for so long and I’ve followed them for at least 4 years. Kevin and Makael have made their mark in the social media world and have interviewed some of the top celebrities. On top of their dynamic personality combination, these two cover all topics worth discussing- politics being one that I’ve started to follow a lot more over the years. I watch them twice a week, every week; they’ve almost become a stress reliever to view.

And there you have it! This was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be, but these have to be my top 10 because they are my most viewed and loved. What are some of your favorite Youtubers? Let me know in the comment section below. Maybe we have some in common or maybe there a few I need to check out. As always, I hope you all enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed sharing it!

        Favorite Makeup Picks Product Review

Welcome back loves! Since my skin has decided to take revenge and breakout now that the season has changed, I’ve had to switch to my fall makeup choices. I have combination skin, where my oiliness usually sits on my T-zone area- especially my nose. (Sometimes I look like Rudolf. 😒) Believe me, I’ve tried everything to get the oiliness to subside but it went without any differences.  Luckily, one of my classmates introduced me to Mac; let me tell you, these few products made a huge change in my breakouts and oiliness. Granted, everyone’s skin is different but this is what works for me. Since I replenished my stash for the fall, I wanted to share them with you.

        Studio Fix Fluid (NW44)

I kind of feel like everyone has raved about this product, but I just have to say this is the best foundation I’ve used that’s given me the look I want. In addition to leaving a flawless finished look, it doesn’t leave my face super oily and it’s full coverage. In addition to that, SPF 15 is included. (Yaaaass!)

        NYX Primer (Not Pictured)

I do use a primer underneath my foundation to help it stay in place and this one does a good job with that. (Plus, it’s cheap.) NYX has always been good to me as far as setting powders and primers go, so this one is no different. The consistency seems a bit greasy to me at times, but it’s just the formula used.

        Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

This is great for setting my foundation, but it’s also a good product to have when I don’t want to use my foundation. I still the same coverage and I don’t feel like I caked on powder.

        False Lashes Extreme Black

This isn’t a necessity, but it’s a sample I received for my order. I have used it a few times and so far, I love it. It doesn’t get clumpy during application and it gives my natural lashes a boost without having to wear falsies.

        Whirl Lipstick & Liner

I have never tried this color, but seeing it stores and on other beauty bloggers made me want to check it out. It’s a matte lipstick, which I love because I’m not too big on glossy lip products. I had to get the lip pencil to match since I can add it to other lipsticks in my collection to see what colors I can come up with or I can wear the liner by itself. All in all, I’m excited to try them out.

And there you have it- short and simple. Normally, I don’t need tons of product to keep to keep my skin in top condition but it needs some help every now and again. If you all want to know my skincare routine, let me know down below and I’ll get right on it ! Until next time..
